Full or Partial Conservation Framing

We know exactly what to do. Kathy has museum experience. We will advise and guide you through the process. It includes RAG FOAMCORE, RAG MATS and glazing with UV PROTECTION. The glazing choices are clear glass with UV protection, plexiglass with UV or non-glare surface. There are various ways to secure an item and the methods we use ensure that the item is not glued, taped or affected in any way. The item is maintained in its exact original condition.

Heirloom Preservation

Just about everyone has something that means a great deal to them that is likely to be stored in a closet or attic and looked at every three years, maybe. We can turn these priceless objects into beautiful presentations that can be displayed with pride and creating your family heritage because you will be preserving things for future generations.

Needlework Stretching

With pride, we claim to be specialists in this field! We stretch and we lace, but only in the pursuit of picture framing. Stretching needlework is time-consuming and difficult. But we are the very best at it!

Mounting

There is an array of processes used in mounting and some of these can cause your mounted pieces to bubble or separate. Our over-sized VacuSeal 4468H is fully computerized. We use acid-free adhesive film, resulting in a permanent bond that looks great forever! Our machine will also accommodate spray mounting without heat. We will give you experienced advice.

Shrink Wrapping

We use a heavy gauge shrink wrap material. Have you ever had something shrink wrapped only to have it split open?

Mat Cutting

Because we have been cutting custom mats since 1972, we can claim to be Master Mat Cutters! There isn’t much we cannot do. We can cut a custom design into a mat by hand with precision that can’t be matched! We also own a state-of-the-art computerized mat cutting machine that will cut up to 250 openings in a 40” x 60” sheet of mat board. With this advanced machine, we can offer a multitude of standard designs or letter styles that can be cut into your mat with extreme precision. The mats we use offer us versatility beyond those of our competitors. We buy only acid-free products from every company that offers them, meaning we have every color possibility that exists!
